Given the large number of requests we receive each year, we have now automated our donation request system and all requests must be made through the form below.

The following guidelines have been developed to create consistency and fairness to organizations that seek support:

  • Organization should be a registered tax exempt 501 (c) (3)
  • Organization should be located in the state of Michigan.
  • All requests are evaluated on an individual basis and the DIA reserves the right to deem what in-kind donation is appropriate for each request.
  • One request per organization will be considered per calendar year.
  • Organizations requesting donations must submit their request by using the online form below. Incomplete requests or requests by phone, fax, or email will not be accepted.
  • We are UNABLE to donate to:
  • For-profit organizations
  • Out-of-state requests
  • Second generation requests (for-profit organizations or individuals raising money for another group)
  • Events benefiting a single person or family
  • Please send requests at least 30 days prior to the event.
  • All donations must be picked up at the DIA
  • NOTE: Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.

    Please provide information on your good work and tell us how you will acknowledge this donation at your event. It would also be helpful to understand your fundraising goals. Maximum 4000 characters.
    Attach your organization's letterhead or proof of 501(c)(3) status as a single PDF or Word document.
